The Belle Agency Top Model Contest 2013

Had the pleasure of working with Heather Arendt and The Belle Agency over the past couple of months leading up to this big event at aLoft, last Friday evening. I cannot say enough good things about everyone that I had the opportunity to meet and work with leading up this wonderful event. From …

Something with a Little Cheese

Well, it’s been a few months since I have posted anything that I have felt is worthy of sharing. I’ve always liked to take quality over quantity method, so I’ll get right to it. Over the last couple months I have building a new portfolio of fashion-inspired photographs to fill …

Outtakes + Color Reference + Test Shots of the Year.

Photographing people doesn’t have to be all serious, I like to have a bit of fun when our location. Those of you that have had the portrait experience with me will know (and might find yourself pictured below) that it’s really not as bad as one thinks when getting portraits made of …

Sara & Matt | Married

From the first time that Sara, Matt and I sat down and discussed what they were looking for in their wedding photography I had a feeling that it was going to be one of the most fun weddings that I have covered. These two have a chemistry between them that resonates to whomever …

Rachel | 2012 High School Senior

Rachel is a senior at Green Bay Notre Dame High School and came to me with some great locations and ideas in mind for her senior pictures. Her family’s waterfront cabin only a few minutes north of Green Bay provided a setting that makes her pictures unique and meaningful. Mix …

Green Bay 2012 High School Senior

Had a really fun session with a senior recently, it all started with an airbrush makeup application provided by Hether at The Spa Loft. After that we headed to the beautiful campus of St. Norbert College and then to the super-secret tall grassy field that I love to shoot in. …

Green Bay Senior Pictures, Betsy – Class of 2012

Betsy is a 2012 high school senior at Green Bay Notre Dame. She picked a wonderful location, Heritage Hill State Historical Park, to shoot at. A place that I have never had the opportunity to shoot at. As the memories came flowing back of the many hours spent there as a child with her father, …

Dana Erlandson

Wisconsin singer/songwriter, Dana Erlandson, has been working the mid-western music scene for two and half decades. A very talented musician, an antique guitar collector-fixer-upper and a wealth of musical knowledge, as well as being a down to earth nice guy, Erlandson approached me to get some new promo shots. I greatly obliged knowing that it would be …

Dead Modern Villains LIVE

I read a headline in the Green Bay Press Gazette the other day that a venue that was well known for throwing some of the biggest shows in area closed their doors. Tom, Dick and Harry’s of Ashwaubenon closed, it’s a bit of a story that I won’t get into here, but you can read about it here it you would like. The venue as far as a photographer looks at things was a beauty. Great big stage, lots of lights, front lit and back lit performers. It was honestly one of the “easiest” places that I can remember to …

How it all came together is quite a story, feel free to ask Donald Taylor, Fr. James …

A Visit to The Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay

Photography to me holds a significant power to help others. This time, The Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay. These are the start of a new little project that I will be working on with a friend at the club. The thought behind this is to show that The Boys and Girls Club is not just a place where kids hang out, it’s a place that helps school age youth make better choices and reach their full potential in a safe and accepting environment. It teaches all young people, regardless of background or circumstances to be equipped to respect others and …

World’s Largest Dome Structure – The Bigloo!

A few weeks ago I get a call from my friend Ben who I have not heard from in a few weeks. After a short conversation of catching-up, he told me about this group of people that were building an igloo in their back yard and going for a new Guinness World Record™. My response, “That’s pretty cool.” One week went by and the “Bigloo” was still under construction and my schedule was so that I wasn’t able to make it over to shoot, but I was more excited to shoot this thing in it’s final completion. Fast forward another …
